Warmer temperatures are returning to the Wichita area - but breezy conditions are, too.

Highs should push into the low 60s under sunny skies on Wednesday, forecasters say, but winds out of the north will be in the teens and 20s. Gusts could approach 30 miles an hour.

Thursday will be sunny but a bit cooler, forecasters say, with highs in the upper 50s. But Friday could see temperatures climb all the way to the mid-70s. Winds will be robust on both days, with steady breezes in the teens and gusts in the neighborhood of 30 miles an hour.

A cold front will move through late Friday night, dropping highs to the 50s for the weekend.
