Temperatures will continue their recent roller coaster in the Wichita area this weekend.

Highs are expected to reach the mid-60s both days, forecasters say, with patchy sunshine and light southerly winds. But the arrival of another cold front on Sunday afternoon will see winds shift to the north and temperatures drop quickly in the evening.

Sunday night’s lows will fall to around 40 and make for a cooler Monday, forecasters say. Monday will be mostly sunny, but highs will be about 10 degrees cooler than Sunday.

Election Day will be even chillier, with highs in the upper 40s on a mostly cloudy day.
