Temperatures will be on a roller coaster over the next few days in the Wichita area.

Sunday will offer a pleasant high, forecasters say, with temperatures reaching the low 70s on a sunny day. Winds will be light early on out of the south, strengthening to the teens later in the day.

Winds will shift to the north as a cold front moves through after midnight, forecasters say, dropping Monday’s highs to the low 50s. Steady breezes will be in the teens, with gusts approaching 30 miles an hour.

Halloween will be mostly cloudy and chilly, with highs in the upper 40s. A chance of rain develops later in the day, forecasters say.
