If you’re interested in joining the Wichita school board, the deadline to apply for the vacant seat is noon Thursday.
School board member Barbara Fuller resigned from the board earlier this month. Her replacement must live in District 3, which includes portions of south and southeast Wichita, and cannot be a district employee. The person must be at least 18 and registered to vote in Sedgwick County.
Fuller’s term expires in January 2020. The board will hold a special meeting Dec. 6 to interview potential candidates.
