The body of a girl reported missing nine months ago was found by a farmer this past weekend.

A landowner working on his farm north of Haven found the remains Saturday, the Reno County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post. Using dental records, the remains were identified Monday as Laura Lee Dorey, 17, of Haven.

Laura was reported missing by her family on June 13, 2017.

The cause of death is under investigation.
