Airbus’ Mobile plant delivers first A320 passenger jet

The Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Ala., has delivered its first A320 jetliner.

The narrowbody jet went to discount carrier Spirit Airlines, which operates an all-Airbus fleet.

The Mobile plant has already assembled and delivered 36 A321 passenger jets since production there began in July 2015.
