If you’ve ever come home for a glass of wine after a long, stressful day, you may have wondered if your furry friend would like a few laps of what you’re drinking.
Especially if you couldn’t quite relax because a pair of puppy dog eyes were looking up at you.
While your four-legged friend may like a little taste of your “relaxation wine,” alcohol can hurt a dog or cat’s liver and even give pets alcohol poisoning just like a human, according to Rover.
But if you’ve thought your pet could really use a glass of wine, you – and your cat or dog – are in luck.
No, they still cannot drink your Prosecco, but they can drink Pawsecco.
The pet drink specialists at Woof & Brew have launched a still “wine” for pets, and it is available in both Pet-House White and Pet-House Rose.
The “wine” made for dogs and cats is non-alcoholic, non-carbonated and grape free. It is made with natural herbs, including elderflower, Lindon blossom and ginseng.
The 250-milliliter beverage, which can be purchased for about $4, is designed to be served over your pet’s food. You can also serve it to your pet in your favorite glass as long as you have fresh drinking water available, according to the feeding guide provided by Pets at Home.
Oh, and people – and their pets – are loving it.
